So-cell Networking

There is a rise in the trend of using cell phones for social networking media. With the new applications of mobile phones, social networking sites are being available on phones.
ComScore, a provider of digital marketing intelligence, said that access of Facebook from cell phones has almost doubled while that of Twitter has tripled.
Mark Donovan, senior vice president of ComScore confirms this as, “Social networking remains one of the most popular and fastest-growing behaviors on both the PC-based Internet and the mobile Web, Social media is a natural sweet spot for mobile since mobile devices are at the center of how people communicate with their circle of friends, whether by phone, text, email, or, increasingly, accessing social networking sites via a mobile browser”
Though Twitter is the number one social network marketing website, Facebook is not left much behind. The use of cell phones in accessing social networking sites is very enticing as a user can access these sites while he is on the move. PC based days are things of the past and mobile technology is taking over. Come to think of it, the access of social networking media sites on cell phones is not a big deal when these days, people are talking about LTE cars.
These social networking sites are easily available on cell phones as they are on a different platform that you can access via your cell phone. The statistics of the breakthrough use of these social networking sites are taken from mobile browser usage.
These social networking sites keep launching applications that can be used by cell phones. One such example is the Twitter weighing machine. It is a machine that you can keep in your bathroom, and take a daily record of your weight and that record will be posted on Twitter via iPhone- spooky invention indeed! But it is just an example to show how these social networking sites are growing.
The use of social networking sites from PC limited their application, to people who are stationary. But now you can access these sites even while you are on the move.
